September is National Childhood Cancer Awareness month. Every single day, just in the US alone, 42 children’s lives change forever. 42 families hear the devastating words, “Your child has cancer”. I know, this is hard to read, think about and process. But please, read the statistics. Share the information. Support the cause.
Strength- the capacity of an object or substance to withstand great force or pressure. Also- The emotional or mental qualities necessary in dealing with situations or events that are distressing or difficult.
Over the last year and a half Aiden, and all of his fellow warriors, have shown us the real meaning of strength. These kids are literally smiling through what brings most of us to our knees in tears. They continue to light up rooms with their smiles, boundless energy, and infectious laughter. These kids are truly superheroes, in every sense of the word.
