I’ve been photographing Carley since she was in the single digits. She was actually part of my very first family session when I was just getting started in photography. Now, years later, I have the incredible honor of photographing her wedding.

It means so much to me to have been able to capture her bridals and be part of such a special chapter in her life. We forgot the bouquet and we still managed to create some beautiful images!

Tucker’s senior session was such a great one! This young man has some great ideas and a clear vision for his future continuing his family’s legacy in agriculture and heading to NC State to pursue agriculture.

He’s such a level headed, hardworking young man, and it’s honestly refreshing to see young people with that kind of direction and purpose. I really enjoyed spending time with Tucker and capturing this special season of his life.

Tucker, I wish you nothing but the best as you start this next chapter! Proud to have been a small part of your senior year.

It's always exciting to see your work in print, especially when it's a wedding you've had the honor of photographing. There's just something special about seeing those memories come to life in a magazine.

We were freezing at this elevation, and the wind didn't help, but we pushed through and made the most of it. The cold was worth it because we got some amazing shots.

Not every image happens with a single click.

When I walked into the bar area where the groom and groomsmen were getting ready at, I immediately saw the potential for a cinematic portrait of the groom and his groomsmen. The lighting, symmetry, and atmosphere all worked together to create the vision I had in mind.

This final image is actually a composite of seven separate photographs, carefully blended into one. Each frame was planned and captured with the end result already in mind, allowing everyone to be placed exactly where I wanted them while maintaining clean composition and consistent lighting.

Creative photography is more than pressing the shutter, it's about seeing the finished image before you ever take the first shot. I'm really happy with how this one came together.
