You never know where Robbie will be on a wedding day....

Hiding behind the arbor and dress to keep the arbor steady and dress secure for the dress details shot? Check.

Casually studying how the arbor is secured into the ground because he knows his wife will ask him to move it to a different location for portraits later? Check.

It's the little things. And yes, I did have him move the arbor into better light for portraits post ceremony. He knows me so well.

{Nadeau Wedding}

Dominic and Kelsey's wedding day was the perfect example of how backyard weddings can be absolute perfection! Dominic's Grandmother's gorgeous home and property served as the getting ready spots, ceremony and reception location. It was a true family affair with Kelsey's Mom lovingly growing the majority of the colorful blooms specifically for the wedding day! These two were surrounded by their closest family and friends in such a sweet and powerful way. It was such a heartfelt celebration to photograph and be a part of.

{Votava Wedding}

Austin and Gabi's wedding day at River Farms in Hertford, NC was spectacular and one for the books! Not many Bride's can say they got married at their parent's sandpit, but Gabi can! Her Dad even put in a new dirt road just for the big day! Amongst all the sweet moments of the day was a special part of the ceremony where the couple mixed soil from their childhood homes around a tree they'll plant together at their new home. It was a beautiful symbol of two lives becoming one! From heartfelt moments with family to a dance floor that stayed packed all night, it was a day filled with love, laughter and celebration! We loved being a part of their wedding day!

Never have I ever photographed a Vow Renewal where it was a surprise to the couple renewing their vows. These two have been married over 30 years and their kids pulled this surprise vow renewal off under the disguise of an extended family shoot. It was beautiful, emotional and incredibly sacred. There are moments that rock me to the core emotionally over how blessed I am to witness private moments in complete strangers lives, and this was one of them.

This beautiful sunny wedding day at the iconic Kitty Hawk Pier was filled with so much love, laughter and the sweetest connection between these two. From quiet moments together to stunning portraits by the sea, every part of the day felt effortless and genuine. Natalie and Jacob customized 5 hours of wedding coverage to perfectly fit exactly what they wanted for their big day, making sure the moments that mattered most were beautifully captured from beginning to end. So thankful to have been the one to document their love and wedding day!

Some wedding days go exactly as planned and some turn into something even better. Jake and Lauren’s wedding day at the Palmer Inn Estate came with steady drizzle causing the ceremony location to pivot under the estate’s newly constructed beautiful pavilion. From the moment they met at the altar to the final song of the night, the weather simply didn’t matter. The dance floor stayed packed all evening , so full you could barely move through it, and every moment felt joyful, relaxed, and completely centered on celebrating these two. Rain or shine, it was an incredible wedding day for Jake and Lauren and we were thankful to be there to document it!

From heartfelt vows to a packed dance floor with DJ Taz of Taz-2 Productions , every part of the celebration was so special to witness and capture. Kelly and Heather's wedding day may have been blustery conditions outside but inside it was bursting with love and celebration. Everything about their wedding day was personal and intimate making it an unforgettable evening. Even despite the wind and rain pivoting the ceremony inside, the day ended with the most magnificent sunset that these two truly deserved! It was a joy to photograph their wedding day!
