Photoserve

Bringing like-minded photographers together for service.

PHOTOSERVE forms teams of visual artists to partner with select non-profit and world-relief missions, aiding them in their needs by providing hands and feet on the ground for their mission. The teams' primary goal is to always SERVE first, visually capturing the essence of the mission is a secondary, natural progression of the teams we form. Because of this, we donate back to the organization the media we create during the mission to promote their individual world changing visions. After returning from the project we continue to tell the story on our platforms, as well as educate and share our experience to the world around us, in hopes of spurring action and creating community.

A year ago, Brad Jones came to me, Brittany Girle, and said he was getting into photography. I invited him to partner with Photoserve to capture the NICU Parent Club's annual Rock-A-Thon in GA. Honestly, I didn't think that connection would go beyond that day. Eight months later, he contacted me and said he was making his first documentary and doing it for the NICU Parent Club!

From a Photoserve standpoint, this is all I could have hoped for and more. He took that initial connection from a Photoserve project and ran with it personally. Nine months since that initial connection, I had the privilege of joining him to film this documentary! What an absolute honor to see Brad Jones take his gifts and talents and use them to give back. What a privilege to see the work that Ashley Smith Crabtree and Carolyn Collier Harrison are doing with the NICU Parent Club to support other parents experiencing stays in the NICU. What an honor to meet Jeremy Sweeney + Brittnie Sweeney and family and hear how they are sharing their story to help others.

The honor of being surrounded by such an incredible group of people was the most humbling part of this for me. Without further ado, please enjoy Brad's film! If you're in GA, the NICU Parent Club is a wonderful organization to get involved with that can always use your support! If you need a videographer, Brad Jones is an incredible up-and-coming filmmaker with a deep passion to share your story. Enjoy!!

Terrible timing to message EVERY SINGLE one of our Photoserve donors and tell them their donations have been cancelled. 🤦🏼‍♀️ Great timing to give an update and say that WAS a technical error! This is not true and we’re more alive than ever and Very excited about what’s to come! Want to become a donor? Great timing! 😉 https://www.classy.org/give/93014/ #!/donation/checkout?

Tonight is Surge for Water annual gala and we couldn’t be more go Pres to celebrate with them! This is the night where photos and videos we capture for them come to life. This is the night when others get introduced to these becautiful people. Lindsay West Photography captured this photo in Uganda and it was honestly one of the most intimate moments of my life. Staring into someone’s eyes as they teach you the dance of their culture and welcome you into their community; it will stay with me forever. We’re so grateful for these paretnetships and the way that Surge for Water utilizes the work that we help them create. If you’re interested in supporting them tonight check out their online auction at the link below!
