There’s just something about photographing a brand-new little life. 🤍

Those tiny fingers. The sleepy stretches. The little noises. The way they fit so perfectly in your arms. 🥹

This sweet boy was such a dream to photograph, and I’m so grateful I got to freeze a little piece of this season for his family. Because they really are only this tiny for a moment. ✨

There’s something really special about getting to combine two things I genuinely love. 🐾📸

I’ve spent years working in veterinary medicine, caring for animals on some of their hardest days. And then I get to step behind my camera and capture them on their happiest, most playful, most them days.

Today I got to photograph this sweet pup, and it reminded me just how perfectly these two worlds fit together.

I’ve always had a calming energy with animals. I think they can sense when someone genuinely loves them, understands them, and isn’t asking them to be anything other than who they are. I also think working in veterinary medicine has taught me so much about reading body language, respecting their comfort zones, and letting them come to me on their own terms.

And maybe that’s why I love photographing pets so much.

There’s no pressure for them to “pose perfectly.” We can take our time. We can play, explore, take breaks, get silly, and let their personality come through.

I get to connect with animals in two completely different ways caring for them in my veterinary career and telling their stories through my camera. And honestly, I wouldn’t want it any other way. ❤️

Animals have always been a huge part of my heart. I’m pretty lucky that they’re also a huge part of my life. 🐾📸

There is something I truly believe…
Our pets deserve to be photographed just as much as the rest of our family.

Their time with us is never long enough, but the memories and photographs we create together last forever.

Working in veterinary medicine full-time for the past 26+ years, has given me a deep love and respect for animals. Every day I care for dogs and cats, and I’ve learned that every pet has their own personality, comfort level, and way of communicating.

That experience has become one of the greatest strengths I bring to every pet session.

🐾 I have a calm, patient approach that helps nervous pets relax.

🐾 I know how to safely work with excited, shy, senior, and even special-needs pets. I can read their body language.

🐾 I spend the time needed to earn their trust instead of rushing them.

🐾 I can usually get even the most distracted pets to look toward the camera.

🐾 I welcome the goofy moments, the zoomies, the slobbery kisses, and the quiet cuddles, because that’s who they truly are.
I don’t expect your pet to sit perfectly. I simply want to capture the love between you and your best friend.

Whether they’re a brand-new puppy, a lifelong adventure buddy, or enjoying their golden years, every stage of their life deserves to be remembered.

A few weeks ago, I had the pleasure of capturing a 50th birthday celebration that was full of life, laughter, and all the Cinco de Mayo vibes! 🌮🍹🎉

From the bright, vibrant colors to the delicious tacos, margaritas, and live music, every detail made this celebration unforgettable. It was the perfect way to celebrate 50 years surrounded by family, friends, and so much joy.

A few weeks ago, I had the honor of photographing another milestone for a family I've known for 8 years. I've photographed this bride's sister's wedding, family sessions through the years, and now her wedding day.

One of the greatest gifts of this job is being invited into people's lives and trusted with their most meaningful moments. Watching families grow, celebrate, and create new chapters, and being the one to preserve those memories, is something I'll never take for granted.

One detail from this day that was especially meaningful to me was their getaway car, a beautiful Bel Air. Growing up, my grandpa collected classic cars, and as soon as they fired this one up, I was instantly transported back to my childhood. The sound of the engine, the unmistakable smell of an old classic, and the memories that came rushing back made that moment even more special.

Photography has a way of preserving memories, and sometimes the moments we capture create memories for us, too.

Thank you for trusting me to freeze these moments in time so they can be cherished for generations to come.

Fun fact: this little cutie is 6 months old today! 🥰

I’ve had the honor of photographing her parents since they were dating, from helping plan and capture the proposal, to their beautiful wedding, and so many special moments in between. Watching their story grow and now getting to capture this sweet girl has been such a joy. 📸💗
