Where nature meets art. This is the Fanal forest on Madeira. Some of these trees are 800 years old, dating back to before the island was even discovered. They say you want to be here when the fog and mist rolls in, and that is exactly what happened a few minutes after we started hiking around. To say it was incredible would be a massive understatement! It felt like another planet, you wondered what all these trees have witnessed over the centuries and truly inspired the imagination.
