I am inspired by the natural world capturing all different types of living organisms. NO events please.

Space, place, time and environment lead in my portrait shoots and outdoor adventures in many types of landscapes. Photography has been moving in and out of my life for as long as I can remember. Although a phase of dormancy is passing, my camera lens and passion for capturing moments has awoken. If you are interested in a session please message me. All sessions are performed outdoors. Prices vary

depending on location. Couples, Families, Senior Portraits, Boudoir or other special requests photography offered.

I have never been to a protest. I always imagined them to be violent and aggressive.

I decided to be a documenter, instead of
holding a sign or an opinion I held by camera.

What do these pictures say about the world we live?

Rocks are hard for me to wrap my mind around. ๐Ÿ˜‰

They are not alive, they don't eat or breath and some are even immortal.

What is the Grand Canyonโ“Great question, that also has millions of answers.

Here is what I learned, time in "rock language" goes all the way back to the formation of Earth itself. Looking down into the Canyon, is actually a timeline.

The Colorado River has been slowly downcutting into the geologic timeline for past 5-6 million years.

As a result, the foundation of bedrock formed in the Pre Cambrian era billions of years ago is exposed holding the River close. In addition all the layers from bottom to top tell a story, unique to that eon, era, period and/or epoch.

So, there you go, one question answered, followed by an infinite number of more questions.

Summer of 2023 was life changing. I was consumed by school and research that I never had a chance to share the important work on social media.

I spent 30 days with a small research group in Latvia and Lithuania where we searched for Holocaust mass graves using Ground Penetrating Radar (GPR) and other tools.

I decided to attach the storymap that I was the primary author of that showcases the important research. I was the designated photographer during the experience and the Storymap was a place for me to share those captured moments.

Pairing that with the geophysics images, and the results of the day expose a forgotten past of the Jewish people.

A forgotten past of MY people.

If you have a few minutes please take a peak! Share to get this information out there, to help raise awareness about underrepresented histories.

As everyday passes, our faces change.

Luckily we have pictures which capture the very version of ourselves that exists only in that single moment.

Reishi Mushroom>>>>>>

Thatโ€™s right, the model in these photos is a mushroom! A medicinal specie and I grew it myself! Homegrown and to be celebrating my second reishi harvest I decided to highlight their glory with my photographic lens along the Mississippi.

The brightly colored fungi when eaten combats fatigue and provides the body with immuno support. There have even been studies that show this edible delight increases stress tolerance and decreases depression.

๐Ÿ“ธHad to catch the magic last night! ๐Ÿ“ธ

First time ever capturing the beautiful night sky on camera. Feeling accomplished and couldnโ€™t be more grateful to be alive on this amazing planet.

My grandpa Dave passed a few months ago and while going through his things I found Japanese inspired sweatshirts.

Brainerd was a place he traveled to often for Judo conventions. On other occasions he took me, my sister and cousin for visits to the area to play and enjoy time with extended family.

At about 11:30pm last night, we heard loons, eagles and other birds all come alive from their silence. Tears fell from my cheeks, as the sky slowly lit up with green hues and unexplainable energy.

Felt spiritually connected to be sitting with my partner, in the sweatshirts, in Brainerd, while we watched as our ancestors sent us signals from above.

A reminder to love the ones you have today, and cherish the memories of ones lost yesterday. โค๏ธ

A few of springs delights! ๐ŸŒธ๐ŸŒป๐ŸŒผ ๐ŸŒธ๐Ÿ’

Recently I learned that Trilliums are pollinated by ants. The insect is attracted to the seed due to a sweet coating. Bringing the coated seed back to the colonie, the outside is eaten and now the seed is planted.

Insects and flowering plants appeared on Earth at the same time. The symbiosis between insects and flowers was so successful that many other plants like mosses, ferns and conifers went extinct. Of course not all, since we still have those types of plants today, but many couldnโ€™t compete.

Understanding how our world was made can answer so many questions. Imagine what humans could do if we played more biomimicry. What if we copied our ant friends, or even just paid closer attention to how or why the forest grows and moves the way it does.

Letโ€™s try to learn before we destroy all the answers to our problems.

I guess the moral of the story is, thatโ€™s not a real morel, ants play a major role in our ecosystems and next time you see a flower stop and take a moment to appreciate all the work that has gone into their sucess.

Maps, passport, a positive attitude,โ˜€๏ธ and one of the biggest smiles I have ever photographed!

Grabbed a few professional shots and even had a chance to show off her family jewelry that has been passed down generations.

Enjoy the collection :) interact with this post and follow my page to support my photography!
