Last night I was relegated to the basement for the third time this week thanks to Wisconsin's week of severe weather. I decided to play with long exposures and lightening. While not everything I had hoped for came out as planned I think for my first major attempt I came away with a few nice frames.

I'm starting a new project called "Why Ink" I'm looking for people willing have their tattoos photographed and then if willing do a short 2-5 minute story of why and what it means to you and (if its an older) whether it still holds the meaning today.
This idea started college when the student paper did a story on a tattoo artist got overshadowed - for me - by young man getting a whole back tattoo done. Therefore I would love to create some interesting images with the imagery you wanted inked onto you and then chat about Why Ink.

Even though it's spring now, I wanted to share this: Most know I work part-time at Alpine Valley Resort in winter to stay active and socialize. I also fly drones for their weekly snow condition updates. Here's two quick sunset shots from one night they were making snow this past season.

Back in January I had the joy of photographing two of my friends who were recently engaged in "castle" well a home that was meant to be styled like a castle. I was a fun time in a great place. I cannot wait to see what the future holds for them.

Over the weekend, I had the privilege of capturing a beautiful love story in the making. I couldn’t be happier for Max, a young man I’ve known for years, and his bride-to-be, Makinzie. She said “yes” at the very place where they first met at Alpine Valley Resort.

Our office for the last two nights was with the Mukwonago grizzly's wrestling club at Parkview Middle School. It was a fun time with a lot of cool kids.
