In business we all know sometimes it's not about always making money, sometimes it's about a lil bit of horse trading. A few years ago I was able to photograph a delightful young woman named Rhiannon for her senior portraits fast forward to today and now I'm photographing her younger sisters senior portraits and the first girl was just graduating from culinary school with an emphasis in desserts and bakery. She wanted some grad photos done mom told her we'd see and I said that in addition to doing the the second daughter senior portraits and if the first daughter made me a banana cream pie which is my second favorite pie I would consider that payment enough for the grad photos. So I present to you the Banana Cream Pie and let me tell you it is very good. Photos of the girls to come soon.

It's National Relaxation Day and I think collectively we need to learn to do that a little more, I did that a few weeks back when I took a day and went to the EAA AirVenture in Oshkosh Wi. Just me, my camera and no real plan. It was a great day and a great time to kick back, relax and enjoy the sights and sounds of AirVenture.

The Nordin family is growing and I'm sure when baby Nordin arrives, Mom and Dad and pup Chaucer will have him or her out on the trails in the Kettle Moraine in no time.

The major love of mine is when families, couples, and solo portriats clients take me to their favorite spots. It makes the session just that much more special and it gives me a new place in my bag of locations to use in the future for other clients if its publicly accessible.

Meet Abby and Tyler.
We had the pleasure of photographing their beautiful wedding about a month and a half ago. It was a warm, sunny spring day, perfect for an outdoor celebration.
I was especially fortunate that the officiant allowed me to capture the kiss from a unique angle. It was wonderful to watch all their guests celebrating that special first kiss right along with them.
