This family showed up on one of the coldest mornings of the season so far... and brought hot chocolate for everyone. 🍂

It was windy, chilly, and full of little ones — and they didn’t let any of it slow them down. What made this morning extra special was having a great-grandma and great-grandpa in the mix. Four generations, together, on one cold fall morning. I don’t get to witness that often, and I never take it for granted when I do.

Can you spot the hedgehog? 🦔 The Eischens family brought along a tiny 3D-printed friend for their fall session at Gustavus Arboretum in St. Peter, and the kids turned it into a full-blown game — hiding him in as many photos as they could get past me! What should they wear for Personality Portraits? Easy answer: whatever feels like them.

A few things that look beautiful on the white background:
• Solid colors or simple textures
• Jeans or neutral pants
• Skip big logos and characters — let their face be the star
• Bring that favorite small item — the stuffed bunny, the ball glove, the book they've read 400 times
