Out and about in the Canyonlands, Feb 2023. It was a windy day, so the challenge was to create photos that show water in the desert, expansive views and use the shapes of the potholes to add intrigue. If wind had not been an issue, this set of images would be more about reflection. Surrender to the scene.

A few days at Hovenweep National Monument. Although it's challenging to pull over along McElmo Canyon Road, I was able to find a few sweet spots. Still autumn out there. And can you see I'm painting new stripes on my rig?
