Lauren and Kaylee contacted me for a quick family session at and it was so fun! Their kids are full of personality and adventure and the family is so kind. I really enjoyed this opportunity! Let this also be your reminder that you can absolutely do family pictures at a crowded public place and they can still turn out beautiful 😍

💑 Braeden & Lilith met when they both lived in Florida and together traveled to start a new life in Minnesota. Lilith is originally from the UP of Michigan, so Braeden spent a year and a half planning the ✨perfect✨ engagement for her in a place that reminded her of home 🥰

Lilith could not stop talking about how much of a sweetheart and loving man Braeden is, and you can see it through the way they look at each other 😍 this is totally couple goals!

🌅 Braeden chose Split Rock Lighthouse as a background to his proposal question due to the scenic location, accessibility, and lovely beach that allows you to access the water while also enjoying the stunning views.

It was an honor documenting the day for this amazing couple!

Okay so you popped the question on a super scenic beach along Minnesotas north shore and got some couples pictures....now what?

Instead of trying to find somewhere to have a nice dinner during peak tourist season, why not have a romantic picnic along the lake? Cute sandwiches, yummy dessert, and a glass of Champaign on the scenic pebble beach as the sun turns the sky a myriad of colors is really just the perfect way to end the day along the shore.

I had 1000% way too much fun putting this set up together. And the best part? Two people could haul it in and out in one trip 😂😅. But seriously one of the best engagements I've been lucky enough to help plan and be a part of! Hoping to have another luckily winner take advantage of the gorge set up in the future 👀👀

The world is really expensive right now and while arms and legs can't pay my bills, some services I am willing to exchange for! A quick list is below, but also don't hesitate to ask if you don't see anything on the list that applies to you because ya girl can't really list everything because it's really hard to think of it all when making a post 🤣 but really I am down to barter & trade for:

Braeden reached out to me just a few weeks ago after not one but TWO photographers fell through for him after he waited over a year to plan the perfect engagement. Thankfully I was available for the date he picked and I had way too much fun helping him plan the perfect proposal for his perfect girl.

I always like to ask my surprise engagement clients if they figured it out, but Lilith said she had no idea! Which to me means success 🥰 These two are such a cute couple and I was honored to be present for this pivotal moment.

I will never get tired of fall on the north shore either! No better time to visit.

Not saying *no one* else does this but! I haven't heard of it before and thought it's kinda cool :)

I've been a flower lover forever and I've really been diving in to the cut flower world and making my large yard into both a food and flower farm for us and for those around us. This red Dahlia is extra special because this is the first year I was able to get dahlias to bloom!

Some of the flowers I got at the store but the dahlia, hydrangeas, and zinnias were all from my own garden and I'm pretty proud of that!

Fall is the BEST time to elope along the north shore.

The sunrise is always full of beauty, and the daytime full of the color of the fall leaves. Bugs are nearly gone, the temperature is comfortable, and the animals are out in full display.

There are very few places in the world that can compare to the beauty of Minnesota's North shore - it's the perfect backdrop for a very special day.
