Hey everyone :) I just want to sincerely apologize for how long some of your galleries are taking. ❤️ This year has been my busiest year yet, with more sessions than I’ve ever taken on, and between photography, family, and my full-time job, I’m still trying to find that balance.

Please know I haven’t forgotten about anyone! I am working hard to get everyone's sessions edited and delivered. I also want you to know that I refuse to rush through your memories just to get them out the door. I want to give you beautiful galleries and albums that I’m proud to deliver, not something rushed just to meet a deadline.

We stepped back in time for this vintage-inspired engagement session at the historic Hotel Julien in Dubuque — with a little extra history behind the lens. Rumor has it, Al Capone himself once used this legendary hotel as a hideaway. And getting to photograph these two in the very room tied to that story? Talk about a session with a past. 🥀

She’s the kind of woman who stands beside her man… and he’s the kind of man who would burn the whole world down to protect her. 😉
