Some proposals are sweet.

Some are romantic.

And some involve a ring, a piggyback ride, Martinelli’s, and two people who clearly cannot stop making each other laugh. 😂

This one was such a freaking joy to photograph.

From the moment he got down on one knee to everything that came after, these two were completely themselves. Playful, affectionate, a little chaotic, and ridiculously happy.

Exactly the kind of love story I want in front of my camera.

Congrats to these two on the easiest “yes” ever.

If you’ve ever wondered how photographers get couples to look so natural in photos… here’s one of my favorite tricks. 😂

Most couples show up saying they’re awkward in front of the camera. The truth is, almost everyone feels that way at first.

So instead of telling them to “smile” or “act natural,” I give them a ridiculous prompt that catches them completely off guard. Suddenly they’re laughing, making eye contact, forgetting the camera is even there… and that’s where the magic happens.

The best photos rarely come from perfect poses. They come from real moments.

CONNECTION OVER PERFECTION, Y’ALL 🥰

This is my favorite kind of photo. Not the pose you planned, not the pose you practiced… just two people leaning into each other because that’s where they want to be.

She tucked her head right into his shoulder and he lit up like it was the easiest thing in the world. THAT’S the moment I’m always chasing behind the camera.

Real love doesn’t need direction. It just needs someone to catch it. 📸
