We’re back at Anthony Wayne House today, and every time I’m here I think about this gorgeous wedding from the archives.

That reception tent, the textures, the florals hanging overhead… SO good. And of course, the incredible flowers by one of my forever favorite florists, Kim Wilkerson Bakke .🌿🌸 Some weddings just stick with you, and this one definitely does.

Last Thursday at Pen Ryn Estate was basically a game of “how fast can we beat the rain?” 😂 We headed outside for portraits just before the skies completely opened up, and somehow got so many beautiful photos in before the downpour.

Then, just as the rain stopped, we headed back outside for their ceremony. The timing could not have been better because right at the END of the ceremony, the rain came pouring down all over again. We dodged a whole lot of rain that day, but looking at these photos, you’d never know it. 🤍

Congratulations, Sierra + Pierce!! Such a beautiful day!

Katie + Troy’s wedding last weekend at Terrain Gardens at Devon was exactly that. So much COLOR, so much personality, and two people who genuinely had the absolute best day of their lives. The laughter in these photos pretty much says it all.

And can we talk about these florals again?! The peaches, pinks, yellows, pops of orange, and that incredible ceremony installation made the entire day feel like summer bottled up into one wedding. Add in a very happy bride and groom, a packed dance floor, and all their favorite people, and this one was pure JOY.

Katie + Troy said they wanted photos of EVERYTHING, and when the details look like this, I completely understand. 🍊🍋🌸

Their citrus wildflower vision was so freaking good. Grapefruit, oranges and lemons were mixed throughout the florals and tables, paired with peach, pink, yellow, cream and little pops of green. Even Katie’s veil carried the theme with the prettiest embroidered flowers.

One of my favorite parts was how they brought their love of music into the day with lyrics tucked into their table details. They wanted the wedding to feel personal to their story, and it absolutely did.

Katie told me she wanted to look back years from now and be transported right back to the entire wedding, including all of the tiny things they might not have had time to notice that day. So yes, we photographed the fruit, the flowers, the drinks, the rings, the tables, the food, and even the little bee who apparently wanted a detail photo too. 😂🐝

A little sunshine, a little rain, and a whole lot of emotion!

The first half of Jordan + Troy’s day was absolutely beautiful, with the sun shining through at HollyHedge. Then, right before the ceremony, the skies had other plans and a summer storm rolled in. And somehow, it made everything even prettier. The greens were extra green, the light was soft and gorgeous, and these two did not let a little rain change a thing.

Such a beautiful day for Jordan + Troy at HollyHedge Estate. 🤍

A bouquet full of summer color, bubbles after the ceremony, and even a surprise visit from a pig and a few goats. 🤍 Ann + Patrick’s wedding at Barley Sheaf Farm had so many fun little moments.

Their day was filled with soft pink, blue, and buttery yellow florals, and timeless details. Every part of the property gave us something beautiful to work with.

The best weddings tell a story before anyone says a word.

Megan and Zach spent months bringing this wedding at HollyHedge Estate in New Hope, Pennsylvania to life. Megan designed the paper goods, the stained glass sign, the embossing, and countless personal touches. Zach created his wedding suit entirely by hand after months of sewing, fitting, and perfecting every detail.

Photographing a day this personal is something I’ll never take for granted. Congratulations, Megan + Zach. 🤍
