There was only one mindset during my grad years: outwork everyone

I'm not one to post cell phone pics on here, but these memories didn't need the big cameras

6 years, a bachelors and a masters, and hundreds of thousands of photos. Covered Quinnipiac games at all MAAC and ECAC Hockey members, over a dozen conference and national tournaments, 16 teams, and thousands of miles on the road.

Didn't think the Quinnipiac Tennis reign was over did you?

Over the weekend, the number one seeded Quinnipiac Bobcats Women's Tennis secured their second consecutive MAAC title.

Going into the Championship tournament, Quinnipiac went a perfect 8-0 in the regular season against MAAC opponents.

The Bobcats saw the Mounineers of Mount St. Marys for the second time this season in the MAAC Finals, having beaten them already 5-2 in Maryland.

Quinnipiac defeated Mount St. Marys in the Finals, earning the Doubles point and the next three Singles point to earn a 4-0 score to retain the MAAC title.

The All-MAAC second team honoree, Vera Sekerina would secure the final Singles point needed to capture the victory.

Quinnipiac Baseball defeated Central Connecticut 10-3 in a mid-week matchup on Wednesday afternoon.

The Bobcats were efficient, plating 10 runs off 12 hits and limiting the Blue Devils to only 3 runs off 9 hits.

Quinnipiac is currently split in a 3 game series against Mount St Mary's, with a game each going into Sunday's game.

On March 1st, Quinnipiac Women's Ice Hockey punched their ticket to the ECAC Semifinals for the first time in 3 seasons.

The Bobcats hosted the Bears of Brown for a best of 3 quarterfinal series in Hamden.

Quinnipiac was led by Kahlen Lamarche who netted fourth hat trick of the season. Assistant Captains Uens and Jarvis rounded out the box score to 5 goals for the Bobcats.

The Bobcats went on to claim their first ECAC Championship title the following week in Lake Placid, NY.

That's how the 2025 Quinnipiac Field Hockey season should be remembered.

For a Halloween showdown, Quinnipiac faced in state rival UConn for the last game of the regular season. The Bobcats battled for a playoff spot against the top team in the Big East.

Following the 2025 season, the Bobcats announced they would transition to the NEC for the 2026 season. The game against UConn was their last game in Big East competition.

Quinnipiac Volleyball and the playoffs.. an annual tradition

The Bobcats are the definition of consistency, reaching the MAAC tournament in the last 10 consecutive seasons- which includes 3 consecutive MAAC Final appearances in 22-24 with a 2022 Title win and NCAA national tournament automatic bid.

Quinnipiac Softball traveled to the Bronx over the weekend for a game against Fordham.

The Bobcats defense held strong holding off the Rams in their 6-5 win, forcing Fordham to leave runners stranded late in the game.

Over the weekend, Quinnipiac Baseball traveled to Marist for a 3 game series.

The Bobcats lost the series but secured a 6-2 Sunday afternoon victory over the Red Foxes to end the weekend on top.

Quinnipiac will have a mid week matchup at Yale on Wednesday before traveling north to Buffalo for a 3 game series at Canisius.

Golf. The sport that has taught me integrity, resilience, patience, focus, and respect.

This past fall I had the full circle moment of covering Central Bucks East Golf at Lookaway Golf Club. From calling Lookaway my home for 3 years as a member of the East Patriots Men's Varsity Golf program.. to 6 years later covering the same team, are memories I will hold forever both personally and professionally.

It was an honor to be on the Patriots roster for many years and to call one of the nicest courses I have ever step foot on home.
