Paisley brought her new friend Rita along for family photos, and I have to say she may have stolen a little bit of the spotlight. 🥰

She wasn't quite sure about me at first, and I definitely had to earn her trust. By the end of the session, though, I think we were best friends... or at least as close to best friends as Rita was willing to admit. 😂

One of my favorite things about family sessions is capturing the things that make your family uniquely yours—including the beloved stuffed animals, toys, and comfort items that are part of this season of life. 💛

Parent Minis may not have gone exactly as planned, but we made it work! 🌸💛

With a storm rolling in, the weather definitely kept us on our toes. Thankfully, everyone who made it out was able to get their session in before the rain arrived. Mother Nature tried her best to interfere, but I think we still captured some beautiful memories. ✨

To everyone who braved the uncertain forecast and made the drive, thank you! I loved getting to meet and photograph you all.

Now I have to ask—was it worth the drive? 🥰

I’m already thinking these Parent Minis may need to make a comeback in the future because they were just too special not to do again. 💕

Love is in the air as wedding season begins! 💍✨

Engagement sessions are such a special part of the journey—capturing the excitement, anticipation, and love before the big day arrives.

This couple was an absolute joy to photograph. Not only did we create some beautiful memories together, but the conversation flowed so easily and made the session even more fun. These are the moments I love most—getting to know the amazing people behind the photos.

Just because I’m quiet doesn’t mean I’m not working on photos behind the scenes. 💛

This beautiful maternity session started with wind, ended with rain, and somehow still turned out absolutely stunning. Sometimes the conditions aren’t perfect, but the moments are—and those are the ones worth capturing. ✨

Watching families grow is one of my favorite parts of this job, and this little one is already so loved. I cannot wait to meet this sweet baby for their newborn session and continue documenting this journey. 🥹

If you are currently waiting on photos, I just ask for a little patience and grace with me right now. I recently started my Social Work internship for my bachelor’s degree while also continuing to work full time. This season of life is new for me, and I’m still learning how to balance everything — being a photographer, employee, intern, mom, and coach all at once.

Please know I am doing my absolute best to get galleries completed and returned as quickly as possible while still giving each session the care and attention it deserves. I appreciate every single one of you for your understanding, support, and kindness during this busy chapter of my life.

Cake is always better with friends… especially when that friend is your cousin. 🎂💙

Beckett’s birthday party was such a blast, and I’m so thankful I get the opportunity to watch these sweet boys grow year after year. These are the moments that make memories last forever — messy cake, big laughs, and the people who love them most all in one place. ✨

Milestone and birthday photos don’t always have to happen in a studio or on a perfectly styled setup. Sometimes the most meaningful photos come from celebrating right in the middle of the party, surrounded by family, friends, and so much love. 🥹

May is Mental Health Awareness Month, and I want to share a part of my story. 💚

I was recently diagnosed with bipolar disorder and ADHD. Being diagnosed was scary, especially knowing the stigma that can come with mental illness — particularly bipolar disorder. Opening up to others felt even scarier. I worried that the people I knew and loved would see me differently or think less of me.

But the people who truly love me have met me with patience, kindness, understanding, and love. And for that, I am incredibly grateful.

I’m still at the beginning of my mental health journey, learning how to care for myself in new ways and understand parts of myself I struggled with for years. But I’ve realized something important: these diagnoses are not who I am. They are simply illnesses I have, not a definition of my character, heart, or worth.

If sharing this helps even one person feel less alone or less ashamed of asking for help, then it’s worth it. 💚
