What a gorgeous fall day for a session with this very sweet family! 🍂

I first met these girls last fall when I photographed their headshots, and this year they invited me to their home to capture not only their beautiful family, but their furry friends, too! 🐾📸

I had so much fun spending time with them and capturing all of the love and personality that makes their family so special.

The photo that started it all… 17 years ago this month! 📸

It was a day just like today—a perfect autumn day. I took my adorable daughter outside with my new camera just to play around and see what I could do. I captured this photo and fell in love with it instantly. I still love it today, and it’s proudly hanging in my home.

That photo inspired me to take the money my grandmother left me when she passed—money I honestly didn’t know what to do with—and finally invest it in myself and my dream. After years of dabbling in photography, along with an art degree, business classes, and A LOT of research, Photos by Tiffany LLC was born.

And somehow, here we are 17 years later!

That adorable baby is now a senior in high school, looking at colleges, while this little business I started so many years ago is still going strong.

Photography has become much more saturated over the years, and there are so many incredibly talented photographers out there. My business may not be the biggest or most lucrative—and that’s okay. I’ve always wanted to offer custom, quality photography that is affordable for everyone. That has always been my motto.

What I’m most proud of are the relationships I’ve built along the way. The clients who have come back year after year. The friends who trust me to capture their families. My own extended family members who have trusted me to capture so many of their memories over the years.

I’ve had the incredible opportunity to watch so many families grow. I’ve photographed babies who are now teenagers, little kids who have grown into young adults, and families through so many different seasons of life. These kids know me, they’re comfortable with me, and I genuinely love seeing them year after year.

So, as I celebrate 17 years of Photos by Tiffany, I just want to say THANK YOU. Thank you for following, supporting, recommending, and trusting me with your memories.

This little business is personal, and I’m so incredibly grateful for every single one of you. 📸

I’m so glad we were able to make this session happen today! Sometimes family members who live farther away are only able to visit for a short window of time, which makes these moments together even more special.

When you have the opportunity to get those older generations together with the family, capture it. These are the photos that become priceless over the years—the ones you’ll look back on and be so grateful you took the time to preserve.

Family time is precious, and these memories are truly worth holding onto forever.

And seriously… how beautiful is this family?! Did they absolutely nail the color coordination or WHAT?! I love everything about these outfits!

One of my favorite parts of being a photographer is when close friends trust me to capture their family memories. It means so much to be invited into these special moments and to have the opportunity to document them year after year.
