One of the greatest honors of this job has been getting to witness so many different kinds of love through motherhood. The amazing moms, mothers-to-be, mother figures, grandmothers, and generations of mothers all together.

Happy Mother’s Day to all the moms, mother figures, expecting moms, grieving hearts, and the moms who may not physically be here anymore but are still loved beyond words today 🤎

I just delivered Sadie & Molly’s gallery from the styled shoot I hosted back in April and I genuinely still cannot believe I took these 🤎

They are one of those couples that instantly make you feel comfortable around them. So welcoming, gentle, and naturally connected with each other that half the time they didn’t even need direction. The softness of this whole session mixed with the old library and the dresses made everything feel straight out of a little storybook

I left this shoot feeling ridiculously inspired creatively, but honestly also feeling like I had just made two new friends.

They drove up a mountain at 5am, read private vows, we wandered around taking photos, they wrapped themselves in a blanket (because it was freezing LOL) and ended the morning married (& I officiated them) 🤎🤭

A late night post because I keep coming back to this photo.

It looks like how the moment actually felt. Quiet. A little removed. Everyone watching something important happen without needing to say a word.

It’s funny how the same moment can feel completely different depending on where you’re standing. This photo feels extra special because of the perspective. There’s something really beautiful about seeing all of your people in one frame, watching one of the biggest moments of your life unfold.

Also, a huge thank you to my second photographer for this perspective. Some moments simply wouldn’t exist without an extra set of hands. Having a second photographer allows for more depth, more angles, and a fuller way of telling the story as it unfolds.

Over a year ago, Caroline won a giveaway for couples photos and after alllll the schedule juggling, we finally made it happen this weekend!!

I was in Florida for a wedding, our calendars magically aligned, and it turned into the happiest little session full of laughter and love.
