Brittany and Scotty’s engagement session felt like an old Hollywood movie set at the Gem Theatre Detroit . Hot tip: if you want to shoot downtown, do it on a weekday morning when it resembles an empty backlot rather than a bustling metropolis.

It’s no secret that I’m obsessed with Ladder 4 Wine Bar, so I jumped at the chance to photograph this wedding. They say you can measure your riches by the company you keep. Jenni and Merk are very wealthy indeed.

POV I finally got to be a guest at a wedding.
It turns out, being a wedding date is a total blast. Our dear friends’ wedding in Florence was what dreams are made of, and I only managed to shoot half a roll of film all day because I was too busy enjoying the moment.

It’s so rare to find people who are as beautiful inside as they are out. I loved spending this summer evening at Father Forgive Me with Esti and Ethan. A beautiful day for two beautiful people.

I have been home for a month, but I still feel like my brain is floating down a canal in Venice.
Almost everything was shot on Leica Cl and Fuji medium format film. Be patient with me, we brought home 400 film scans and it’s very hard to narrow down ❤️

Party until the sun goes down. I won’t judge, just save me some champagne.
I always encourage our couples to break away at the end of the wedding night to form their own sub-party and just relax. Cushing Field House has the best smooching field for such a thing.
