I have never been more dehydrated after a wedding in my life. I cried, I danced, I ran around in the Detroit sunshine. If I could do it all over again with Scotty and Brittany, I would in a heartbeat. What a wonderful day.

I love these folks and their photos so much I woke up on my birthday and spent the morning working on this gallery. MICHIGAN WEDDING & FAMILY PHOTOGRAPHER is one of my favorite Detroit photographers and longtime friend, so I literally squealed at the chance to spend time with her and Gigi in their home. I wish I could share every single one ❤️

I couldn’t tell what was more sunny, the park or the glow from these two about to be married. This sweet engagement was a mix of film and digital at Palmer park (my personal favorite).

Brittany and Scotty’s engagement session felt like an old Hollywood movie set at the Gem Theatre Detroit . Hot tip: if you want to shoot downtown, do it on a weekday morning when it resembles an empty backlot rather than a bustling metropolis.

It’s no secret that I’m obsessed with Ladder 4 W**e Bar, so I jumped at the chance to photograph this wedding. They say you can measure your riches by the company you keep. Jenni and Merk are very wealthy indeed.

POV I finally got to be a guest at a wedding.
It turns out, being a wedding date is a total blast. Our dear friends’ wedding in Florence was what dreams are made of, and I only managed to shoot half a roll of film all day because I was too busy enjoying the moment.
