Somewhere between motherhood and running a photography business, I think a lot of us quietly started carrying the weight of comparison.

Watching people create more, post more, book more, grow faster… while we’re answering emails with one hand and holding our babies with the other.

This industry can feel incredibly lonely as a mother.
Like everyone else is keeping up effortlessly while you’re barely making it through the day sometimes.

But motherhood has changed the way I photograph people in the most beautiful way. It’s made me slower, softer, more observant. I notice the tiny things now. The connection. The exhaustion. The love hiding inside the chaos.

So if you’re a mom building something creative while also raising humans… this is your reminder that you are not behind. You are building two lives at once. 🤍

Finding a playmat that was going to grow with our family was important, but finding one that was big enough for the whole family to use was a no brainer. Not only is it beautiful, it’s non toxic and easy to clean.

The biggest thing that stood out to me when I asked you guys to give me three words to describe motherhood, almost everyone said empowering. What a gift motherhood is. We go through such a transformation when we become mothers. Physically and mentally. And to feel empowered through it all is so special.

Happy Mother’s Day. And sending love to those that are grieving on Mother’s Day 🤍
