Last night was a MOVIE… literally. 🎬📸✨

I had the pleasure of covering the red carpet for the premiere of DIAMONDS UP: THE MINISERIES — Season 1, Episode 1: “Guns & Roses” at Bel Air Luxury Cinema in Detroit.

But this one was a little more special than the average photography assignment because the man behind it is my nephew, DOT.CA$H ❤️

There’s something pretty incredible about watching someone you love take an idea, put in the work, gather the right people around them and then watch that vision come to life on the big screen.

The cast and crew showed up. Detroit showed up. And Auntie showed up with the camera. 😎📸

Congratulations, Eric, and everyone involved with Diamonds Up. I’m proud of what you created, and I’m excited to see where you take it from here.

Art in the Yard 🎨📸

Today I had the pleasure of documenting my friend Terrell B Artistry (Terrell B Artistry )in her element as she hosted Art in the Yard, an intimate backyard exhibition featuring her textured abstract artwork and custom artistic fashion ties.

What I love most about photographing other creatives is the opportunity to capture more than the finished work. I get to document the artist, the environment, the energy, and the story behind what they create.

Terrell’s work explores grief, loss, memory, healing, and transformation through color, texture, and deeply personal expression.

This is the kind of storytelling I love — one artist documenting another.

Over the past several months, I've been quietly refining my photography website and reflecting on what draws me to photography in the first place.

Somewhere along the way, I realized I'm less interested in creating perfect photographs and more interested in preserving meaningful moments.

The conversations before an event begins.

The expression that lasts only a second.

The quiet interactions that tell us who we are and how we connect with one another.

That's what led me to refresh my website and launch a Journal to share some of the stories behind the images and the moments that made them meaningful.
