Let’s be real… we’re not talkin’ wedding dresses here because, I mean, I can fix that anyway. 😂

I’m talking about the cute little outfits you picked out for family photos. The white dress you’re terrified your toddler is going to sit in the grass in. The perfectly clean knees you’re trying desperately to keep perfectly clean.

Let. Them. Get. Dirty.

Seriously.

If your kid wants to sit in the grass? Let them.
Pick up a handful of dirt? Fine.
Run barefoot? Go for it.
Roll around, explore, twirl, chase their sibling, and come back with grass stains on their knees?

Even better.

Because I promise you, I’m not going to look through my camera and think, ugh, her dress got dirty.

I’m going to see the giant belly laugh she gave me two seconds later.

The little scrunched up nose.

The wild hair.

The way she grabbed your hand and took off running.

That’s the stuff I’m there for.

And if there’s a little dirt somewhere we really don’t want it?

Welllll… good thing you hired a photographer who knows her way around Photoshop. 😉😂

The clothes will wash. The dirt can be edited.

But they’ll never be this little again.

Sooo yeah… let ‘em get a little dirty. 🤎

Let me tell your love story without words.

Not just the grand gestures or the perfectly planned dates, but the quiet moments in between. The hand resting gently over yours. The way you reach for each other without thinking. Coffee growing cold because you got lost in conversation.

The ordinary table, the ordinary morning, the ordinary day - made extraordinary simply because you were together.

Because sometimes the most romantic love stories aren't found in the extraordinary at all. They're found in the mundane. In the comfortable. In the nothing special happened today kind of days.

And maybe that's the most beautiful part of all.

Years from now, you won't remember what you were supposed to be doing that afternoon.

You'll remember their hand in yours.
The way they looked at you.
The warmth of being loved in the middle of an otherwise ordinary day.

Sharing a few from one of my favorite “sessions” ever 🥹🤍

I say session ✨loosely✨ because this was really just me photographing my nieces, nephew, and my daughter being themselves and honestly, those are some of my favorite kinds of photos. Equal parts chaos, laughter, and magic. 😂

And speaking of summer… HOW is school almost here?! 😭

Before the school year hustle and bustle starts back up, there’s still time to squeeze in those summer photos you’ve been thinking about. The barefoot, messy-haired, sun-kissed, “this is what summer felt like” kind of photos. ☀️

And if you’re entering a new season, we can make that part of it too. Senior sessions, college grads, “intro to kindergarten” photos, first days, birthdays, milestones.. whatever this chapter looks like for your family.

Because these little seasons move FAST, and I’ll always be a huge advocate for documenting them while you’re actually living them.

So if you’ve been thinking, “I really should get some photos done before summer is over…” consider this your little sign. 🫶🏼

Somehow these never made it to my feed and that just didn’t feel right!

One thing about me - sometimes I go back and view your galleries from months ago just because 🤣

These photos were taken at the hospital when I first got to meet sweet Asher, only just a few days after he was born. There is something so special about those first days.. the quiet moments, tiny details, and overwhelming love that fills the room. It’s amazing. 🤍

Hey, hi, hellooooo! 📸

First things first... this photo is a little old. I realized I have somehow become the person who’s always behind the camera and rarely in front of it these days, so we’re rolling with an older picture for now. Maybe this is my sign to change that. (If any photographers wanna help😉)

With so many new faces around here lately, I thought it was finally time to properly introduce myself:

I’m Nicole 👋🏻 the face behind Nicole Lynn Photography, LLC.

Mom to Everly, some fur babies 🐈🐈‍⬛🦮, and wife to Bill Gorzelany. I am a lover of all things Disney and artsy. In my “real life” I’ve been a pediatric dental & orthodontic assistant for over 10 years, and somewhere along the way I realized my favorite part of every single day has always been the people.

I genuinely love connecting with others, especially kids. Learning their personalities, earning their trust, making them laugh... it’s something that’s become second nature to me.

Then I became a mom, and somehow that made me fall even more in love with documenting the little moments that make up a family’s story.

Photography has never just been about taking beautiful pictures to me. It’s about people. The human connection. I want you to leave your session feeling like you just spent an hour with a friend who happened to have a camera in her hand. I don’t just photograph people.. I SEE them. That may not make sense to you but trust me, it’s important.

One of my favorite parts of this job is that it doesn’t end when I deliver your gallery. I celebrate your pregnancies, your babies being born, your kids starting kindergarten, your anniversaries, and every exciting chapter in between. And when life isn’t so kind, I’ll grieve with you too.

I’ll always be rooting for you from the sidelines because I truly care about the people who step in front of my camera. One of the greatest gifts this business has given me is a community of people who started as clients and have become friends.

So whether we’ve worked together before or you just found my page today, thank you for being here. It means the world to me that you’ve chosen to follow along and trust me with your memories. 🤍
