Some days, my toddler runs this business.
Not in the way you’d expect…
but in the way that matters most.
My schedule revolves around snack breaks, tiny hands reaching for mine, and little voices calling “mom” when I’m literally mid email or halfway through editing a gallery. There are toys scattered where client calls should be quiet, and sometimes my best ideas come while sitting on the floor instead of at a desk.
And honestly? I wouldn’t trade it for anything.
Because while I’m building this business, I’m also building her childhood.
She’s there for the messy middle of it all. The late nights, the slow seasons, the wins that feel small to everyone else but everything to me. I mean, there have been times she’s been under the weather and I’ve sat with her in my lap, blanket and all, while I edited a gallery. She sees what it looks like to create something from nothing, to keep going, to pour your heart into something you love… even when it’s hard.
And in between all of that, I pause.
I choose her.
I step away from the laptop, I leave the to-do list unfinished and the emails wait because these moments with her aren’t something I can come back to later.
This version of her is fleeting.
So if that means my business grows a little slower… but my life feels a little fuller?
I think I’m doing it right.
She may not have the title on paper, but she’s the heart behind everything I do.
My tiny CEO. 🤍
