I went out to the Arsenal today more to take a walk and see what birds I might be able to see. I didn't drive the loop, I've seen enough bison and I didn't want to be with the crowds. I'm so glad I did! I saw many birds I haven't seen before, a few I was able to capture. The Western Meadowlark was quite a distance from me so not the clearest of shots; wonderful and abundant redwing blackbirds; a Tricolored Blackbird; Says Phoebe; and an Eastern Kingbird. I saw an Orieol, but couldn't get a picture of it, though I waited for it to reappear for about 20 minutes. I threw in a few deer pics as well. I didn't take pictures of birds I've seen many times before but of course they're out thereโฆ It is such a magical place.๏ฟผ
