People often ask what a portrait session is like. It’s much more relaxed than most people expect. There’s no rush. Dogs have time to settle in, play, and simply be themselves. Watching each Doberman’s personality come out is one of my favorite parts of this fundraiser project for Saving Dobermankind ❤️

There comes a quiet moment after every portrait session.

The lights are turned down. Everyone settles into the cinema room. Then, for the very first time, each portrait comes to life on the big screen.

It's one of our favorite parts of the experience. Not because we're showing photographs, but because we're watching families see their Doberman in a completely new way.

Every dog has their own expressions, their own personality, and their own story. Sharing that moment together is something we'll never tire of.

We're looking forward to welcoming many more remarkable Dobermans to this year's Canine Colorado project.

The first Doberman to join Canine Colorado reminded us why this remarkable breed has captured so many hearts. Strength and elegance are easy to see, but what stayed with us most was her attentiveness. She never stopped watching the people she loves.
