One of the most GOLDEN golden hours I’ve ever witnessed on a wedding day. ✨

The way the light filtered through the trees, flickered off the leaves, and wrapped everything in that warm, sun-kissed glow… especially the way it hit her veil. Aughhh, pure magic.

And here’s your reminder that golden hour portraits on your wedding day don’t have to take forever. These were done in maybe 10 minutes total.

That’s the beauty of intentional timelines and trusting your photographer. You don’t need an hour away from your guests to create something beautiful. Just a little bit of good light and me yelling “WAIT THIS IS SO CUTE” every 3 seconds. 😂

Winter wedding in the Rocky Mountains ⛰️

It wouldn’t be an adventurous day without the wild, unpredictable, Colorado weather of nonstop 50mph winds.

From the moment the day began, it felt intentional in the best way. Their Airbnb gave us the most beautiful backdrop, but what made it truly special were all the little details C + B thoughtfully wove into the day. A custom sign with their new last name, a scent they created together just for their wedding day, and winter-inspired touches in the florals and décor that brought the perfect mountain feel to everything.

The kind of day that felt wild, cozy, and completely them all at once. 🏔️

The girls you choose to be by your side in those moments truly set the tone for the rest of the day.

The right people will hype you up, fix your dress without you asking, grab you water when you forget to drink it, and keep the energy light and fun. They’ll remind you to breathe, soak it all in, and enjoy every second.

The wrong energy can turn a joyful morning into a stressful one.

And just like that, as the cold season nears here is your reminder that engagement sessions don’t always have to be in the mountains or on a crazy adventure. A snowy day in the city with a warm cup of coffee or at your favorite brewery is equally fun and memorable.

Exploring new places is where the fun is. Who knows, you may just stumble upon a cutesy new favorite date night spot. 🤷‍♀️🫶

Story of the day: I actually got myself lost in the forest trying to find this spot after heading the wrong way. Hiking through overgrown trails with no cell service and being cliffside is definitely not for the faint of heart. 😅 But honestly, it made the adventure that much more memorable.

We ended up having the most incredible time together! And the funniest part? At the very end, my couple told me they were afraid of heights the whole time. 😂 Facing fears for epic photos is next-level dedication.

A wedding day full of surprises ✨ Jake + Sarah tied the knot at their favorite homestead, and what a joy it was to feel the love surrounding them. Their celebration was anything but ordinary - from a badass grand entrance on their dirt bike 🏍️, to a live painter, and even hibachi for dinner 🔥. Guests from near and far came together, and every moment was filled with energy, joy, and the kind of surprises that make a wedding unforgettable.
