Grooms — one of my biggest wedding day tips? Actually hang out with your guys.

Don’t spend the entire morning sitting around waiting for someone to tell you it’s time to get dressed. Put on some music, pour a drink, play a round of pool, cards, golf, or whatever feels like you.

Some of my favorite groom photos happen before the suit ever goes on — when everyone is relaxed, laughing, telling stories, and enjoying the fact that your closest friends are all in one place.

Your wedding day isn’t just about the ceremony and reception. The morning is part of the story, too.

Give yourself enough time in the timeline to enjoy it. I promise, those candid moments with your guys will end up meaning more than you think. 🤍

Choosing a wedding venue is so much more than finding a pretty backdrop for your photos.

When you’re planning a luxury wedding in Dallas Fort Worth, you have to look at spaces through both an artistic and practical lens. As a DFW wedding photographer, I’m always analyzing how a property functions— not just how it looks on Instagram.

Does the bridal suite have intentional natural light? Is there a stunning, shaded spot for portraits during the brightest part of the day? If it rains, is their backup location that still feels elevated and refined?
