People often ask how I get my 6 toddler grands to pose for me. A few simple steps I suggest for you even if it's just snapping pics with your phone:

Be organized. Know what you want and where you'd like the photos. If you are hiring someone they should know.

Prep your kids if you are getting professional photos taken. Forcing a crying child only makes you frustrated & them more stubborn. Let your photographer work with them. I've followed toddlers around a park to get photos before.

Have something fun for them to do in the pictures. Some of my fav photos are not posed!

NEVER be afraid to bribe them! lol

It's fun to take family photo's but even more fun when it's actually extended family. :)
