The Manders!!!!! 🤍😭
Where do I even begin? Every wedding I photograph is special, but this one hit a little differently.
I grew up babysitting Peyton (the bride 🤭) and her younger sisters when I was in middle and high school. Our families lived just a few houses down from each other, so I spent countless afternoons, weekends, and summers at their house. My little sister is the same age as one of the girls, so we were always together. Some of my favorite childhood memories happened in that backyard... mostly because they had a pool and we practically lived in it all summer long 🤪 I have such vivid memories of watching these girls grow up, so fast-forwarding all these years later feels a little surreal.
Over the years, I’ve loved following Peyton’s journey. She went to medical school and recently graduated as a plastic surgeon (casual overachiever things 💁🏼♀️✨). Then one day she reached out and told me she was engaged. Cue immediate excitement. And when she followed that up with “we’re getting married in Tulum,” the answer was an instant yes.
This entire weekend was absolutely incredible. Tulum is breathtaking, and Peyton’s vision came to life in the most beautiful way. She planned every detail so intentionally, stayed unbelievably organized, and somehow didn’t let a single thing stress her out all weekend (iykyk)
Every detail was stunning, intentional, and reflected them perfectly.
But beyond all of that, getting to witness Peyton and Justin together was something really special. The way they love and support each other is hard to put into words. They have the strongest foundation, the best people surrounding them, and a whole village cheering them on through this next chapter.
I feel incredibly grateful that I got to be there to document it all.
Peyton & Justin, thank you for trusting me with such an important piece of your story. What an honor it was to celebrate with you both. Okay I’m done sobbing now, enjoy their sneaks 😭
