Happy National Dog Day to the ones who become family long before they become best friends. 🐾🤍

Some of my favorite moments to photograph are the quiet ones—when a dog gently checks on a new baby, keeps watch nearby, or curiously sniffs those tiny little toes.

They're not "just the dog." They're growing into a new role, too.

Years from now, these photos won't just remind you how little your baby was. They'll remind you of the loyal companion who was there from the very beginning, loving and protecting them before they could even crawl.

People always tell me after their session, "That was so much easier than I expected."

And honestly... that's exactly what I hope you'll say.

Your session isn't another thing to stress over. It's time to slow down, spend an hour with the people you love most, and let me take care of the rest.

You don't have to know how to pose. You don't have to worry about your kids sitting still. You just get to be together.

If I can give you beautiful photos and a chance to slow down for a little while, I'd call that a pretty successful session. 🤍

Son & Daughter Day feels like a good reminder that they don't stay little forever.

It's easy to think you'll always remember the way they laugh, the missing teeth, the way they reach for your hand, or the little expressions that make them who they are.

But these seasons change so quickly.

That's why I love what I do. Not just because I'm taking photos, but because I'm preserving the little pieces of childhood that deserve to be remembered. 🤍

Sometimes the photos that mean the most are the ones where no one is looking at the camera.

They're looking at each other.
Laughing.
Holding on a little tighter.
Being exactly who they are together.

Watching these two girls love on their mom, tease each other, and simply enjoy being together was such a sweet reminder that the best family photos aren't about perfect smiles or everyone looking at the camera. They're about preserving this season exactly as it feels.

Years from now, I hope these images bring them right back to these little moments—the giggles, the hugs, the way they naturally found each other, and the love that already filled this chapter of their story. 🤍

There's something really special about this season—before the tiny hands, sleepless nights, and first smiles. It's the chapter where your first baby is getting ready to become a big brother or big sister. 🤍🐾

I love watching dogs gently rest their heads on a growing belly, stay close without being asked, and somehow seem to know that something big is about to change.

These photos aren't just about documenting a pregnancy. They're about remembering your family exactly as it is before everything changes—and making sure every member of it is part of the story.

In fact… I’d rather they didn’t.

I want the giggles, the running, the silly faces, the snack breaks, the cuddles, and all the little moments that make them them. Those are the memories you’ll actually want to look back on years from now.

My job isn’t to make your kids fit into a perfect photo. It’s to create a space where they can have fun, be themselves, and capture the magic that naturally follows.

Sometimes it looks like carrying sleepy kids back to the car, fixing bikes, answering endless questions, showing up after a long day, and being the safe place they run to when life feels big.

A miracle: two animals both with their ears up staying still at the same time✨

One of my main goals as your photographer is to set everyone up for success, that includes the animals. We didn’t just throw everyone in for the picture. They were able to settle separately with their human, see each other from afar since they aren’t together often, and then get closer with mom in the middle. We even had grandma on the side helping to keep attention and who could step in and grab Callie (the dog) if needed.
