In Eureka Valley headed toward the dunes. The orange is Chapparal Dodder, infesting the creosote bushes (and others). Then the Dunes from a distance!

Somewhere along the road from Bishop to the Eureka Dunes, about 250 miles from Joshua Tree National Park, we ran across a valley that was teeming with Joshua Trees! As far as the eye (or camera) could see...
Surprisingly, there's not an emoji for "a bunch of Joshua Trees!" 😉
