Private vows are one of the most sacred things I get to witness behind my camera. Just the two of them. No audience. No performance. Only the rawest, most honest version of everything they wanted to say to each other before they said it in front of the world.

The way he looked at her when she started reading. The way her voice broke on the words she had practiced a hundred times and still wasn’t ready for.

They will always be my most treasured.

Honestly I am ready for the back to school routine. The structure, the rhythm, the feeling of everything settling back into its place. But before we get there — today there is a wedding. And I cannot think of a better way to close out the season.
