somewhere between Dutch Bros, winding Colorado roads, and conversations about life, Chloe & Cam became so much more than a gallery on my calendar!!😭🫶🏼 the fact that two people all the way in Colorado found my work in Texas, connected with it, and trusted me enough to fly out and document this season of their story will never be lost on me. getting to meet them in their own little world, climb into the truck, sip our drinks, and talk about life on the way to the mountains was such a sweet reminder that the best part of this job has always been the people!!🥹

Chloe & Cam, yall were an absolute dream. thank you for welcoming me in, trusting my vision, and making a little piece of Colorado feel like home. I’ll be thinking about this evening for a long time. & the sweetest part is knowing this was only the beginning. see you in May for the I do’s. 🕊️🍂

She walked into this session like she owned the whole fricken coastline. 🌊😭

I drove 6 hours for this one, and I’d do it again in a heartbeat. Not just because the beach was beautiful, but because this bride? A GEM!!! We had just met, and somehow it felt like I’d known her for my whole life. Effortlessly cool, wildly joyful, completely herself…. the kind of person you meet once and immediately think, oh yeah, we’re gunna be friends!!

Beach air, a beautiful whimsy dress, a little wind, and a bride who made the whole thing look stupidly easy!! BE FR!!

EFFECTIVE IMMEDIATELY!!! ⚠️

I will no longer be publicly posting identifiable images of children or minors on my social media.

since the recent Seventh Circuit Court of Appeals ruling and the broader conversation happening around children, photography, AI, and the way images can be used online, I had to make this decision for the protection of my clients.

as a photographer, I have always believed that what I create carries a responsibility far beyond making a beautiful photograph. I’m trusted with people’s memories. I’m trusted with their families. I’m trusted with their children.

and protecting that innocence matters more to me than content, engagement, or growing my portfolio online. Once an image is posted publicly, we lose so much control over where it goes, who saves it, how it is shared, or what technology may eventually be able to do with it. as a photographer, I don’t want to contribute to that risk when I can make a different choice.

so I’m choosing the safer choice. this does not mean I’m stepping away from photographing families or children. I absolutely love that part of my work, and I will continue documenting these seasons of life for my clients. it simply means those images will be treated with a greater level of privacy and care.

I will also be going back through my existing social media and removing identifiable images of minors that I have previously shared.
as a mother, I understand how fiercely we want to protect our children.

as a photographer, I feel an obligation to protect the children who are entrusted to me, too.

their innocence is more important than my Instagram feed. always!!!! 🤍

thank you to every family who has trusted me with their memories. I don’t take that trust lightly!!!🫶🏼

days like this are such a good reminder of why I love what I do!! getting to spend an afternoon with Riley & Christina, celebrating 15 years together and the beautiful family they’ve built, was pretty fricken special.🥂✨🤍

so grateful this is my job, getting invited into the inbetween moments, the big milestones, and the stories people have spent years creating 🥹🫶🏼
