Some imperfect film from a wedding a few years ago in Boston.
Around the time I shot this wedding was about the same time I decided to put both feet in and go full-time with my photography business. I think I mustered up the courage after spending a weekend with other creatives. I truly had no business going full-time. I maybe had two weddings booked for that year. MAYBE.
My business story has not been one of instant success and endless bookings. It sometimes feels like that’s the only side people allow us to see of their business. But rather, my last three years have been defined by little wins over time that I’ve learned to cherish. And a few big wins that remind me this isn’t for nothing.
