This beautiful guy,
a male, White-Breasted Nuthatch,
is definitely one of my favorite regulars to photograph 🐦

These guys get their name from their natural instinct to take a single seed and wedge it in between the bark of a tree trunk and hack away at the seed with it's beak until it opens. Sometimes they even hide seeds between the bark of trees for an easy snack.
