Where are my class of 2027 guys at? I know boys don't plan their session like the girls do, but that doesn't mean they can't be creative and unique. I promise every one of these incredible young men said they had fun during their session with me.

You know... some people come in your life and just make a hard stamp on your heart. Aubrey is one of those beautiful souls. We have been friends for a few years and connected over how her and her husband are first responders. She reached out a while ago to have some family pics done, but life had other plans.

Cancer. Breast Cancer. The words no one wants to hear and that feels like an overwhelming, uninvited, evil villain in your story.

She told me everything and said we have to get these done asap before her first of several surgeries. So we did the photos and we had a blast. We laughed and played in the ridiculous heat and made some magic. When I say these 4 are so connected, I mean it. Aubrey wanted sun flares and man, did I find the flares.

Please help me surround Aubrey in prayers as she goes into her first surgery tomorrow morning. She is a hard working, loving mama and does not like to ask for help and I know a lot of us can relate to that.

She also reminded me to make sure we all do regular breast self exams and get those mammograms scheduled.

It's so crazy because I knew when I found this darling desk so many years ago at an antique shop, it would eventually be used and she was the first.

Peep those images of the girls with dad vs the girls with mom. Why are they the wildest for us?

Fun fact: for milestone/cake smash sessions, I always offer family pics first and I love when they take me up on that opportunity.

Did their bond grow, change etc over the years? I could swear these 2 are getting nicer towards one another but I am afraid to jinx it.
