It is approaching my dad's 2nd death anniversary, and his 60th birthday is four days after that.
-
Last year, I hid a lot of grief by staying busy, filling the void, and acting like there wasn't a void in my soul.
This year, I’ve been focusing on healing, not only from my dad’s passing but from other things as well.
-
I used to take pictures regularly and go outside to capture photos.
I lost touch with why I even started photography in the first place.
But I think I am finding my way back.
-
I stepped outside to take some photos of nature because that’s what my dad did as a photographer, and it heals me and reconnects me with my dad and my inner child.
-
I am here, and I realize the best way to honor my dad is to take care of his daughter.
-
I am not exactly sure what my path is right now but I hope to find it, and until I do, I will enjoy the walk 💚

Last night at , I sold my photo "Martha" 🖤

Martha was my outdoor pet raccoon who had her babies under our deck back in 2024. She let me feed her and her babies, and it was one of the best moments of my life ✨️

He's my shoulder to lean on through every tear, smile, or complete meltdown.
TJ is the kind of person who will buy the older lady's dinner at the restaurant because she's eating alone.
He's the one who listens and gives you the advice you need, and even if you don't want to hear it, I promise you'll want to listen.
I would not be where I am today or if I would even be here at all if it wasn't for you and the kids.

I will have some of my art displayed at for the spring art scene, along with plenty of other amazing artists.
Also, it's one of the best places to hang out on a weekend!

There's so much to see and so many people and places to support.
Supporting local art, venues, and the community is super beneficial in so many ways, and it really means the world to artists and business owners.
