From soulful live music to a whimsical parade, from scavenger hunts for the young (and the young at heart!), to bubbles floating through the summer air — of the Forest brought joy to every corner of the park.

It wouldn't be a summer without local, outdoor festivals. I had a privilege to document Faeries of the Forest this year and it was one of a kind experience! I took so many photos I had to split them into 3 separate posts. I hope you'll enjoy looking at them as much as I did taking them!

From hand-crafted treasures to artisan teas, sparkling jewelry, mystical books, and whimsical art — the Faeries of the Forest gathering in Elgin, IL was a feast for the senses. Each booth was filled with heart, creativity, and the stories of the makers.

Thanks to the incredible vendors who brought their talents and passions to life I could feel the magic everywhere! 🌿💫

What an amazing time at Dragon's Day Out this Sunday in Round Lake, IL.
I had the honor of documenting this magical day filled with vibrant energy, creativity and community spirit.

The event was pack with so much goodness! Incredible vendors, mesmerizing dance performances and a sound bath at the end to rejuvenate.

Everywhere you turned, there was something inspiring and beautiful to capture!

📚👩‍🎓 Senior portraits are all about capturing your teen’s unique personality and interests, and if your senior is a book lover, a library session is the perfect way to showcase their story.

📷 We had so much fun during this session capturing the love of books and reading. Plus, indoor locations like libraries are a great option during colder months! 🧣☃️🧤

Whether it’s a cozy bookstore, a favorite café, or even your home, indoor sessions create a warm and inviting atmosphere while keeping everyone comfortable.

If your senior has a unique hobby or favorite spot, let’s make their session truly personal!

I’ve been capturing people’s stories for over 15 years, and during that time, I’ve had a few opportunities to document small weddings. While I never planned to venture into this part of the industry - typically known for being a massive undertaking - the year 2025 marks a new chapter. I’m officially stepping into this space. Storytelling is my passion, and I believe that documenting the intimate beauty of a small wedding aligns perfectly with what I have to offer.

I went back into my archives and found this lovely, fun and filled with laughter, small wedding I got to capture in Chicago's City Hall a few years ago. It brought back a huge smile to my face, so I decided to share it with all of you too.

A few days ago, someone asked me what I miss most from the past that I wish I could bring back. It’s a hard question because the things I miss will never be again. The people who are no longer with us, the Christmas carols sung by my grandparents, aunts, and uncles around the dinner table on Christmas Eve, the smells and tastes of traditional dishes (even with the recipes in hand, never quite turn out the same).

When I moved to the U.S., I had to leave behind many traditions, but I’ve also gained some new ones too. As a mom of three, I try to pass down some of our Polish customs to my kids. We also blend in Mexican traditions from my husband’s side and add a sprinkle of American ones, creating a beautiful mix that feels like "our" home.

📸 This family invited me to document one of their most cherished holiday rituals: decorating the Christmas tree. From unboxing treasured ornaments and hanging them with care to proudly placing the angel at the top, these little moments become the stories they pass down to the next generation.

This is a story of love, connection, and the magic of being together.

Flour covered hands (and clothes), shared laughter and the scent of chocolate chip cookies in the air - moments like these remind us what the holidays truly are about.

Being together, sharing moments and traditions shape the legacy we pass on.

This family session was a beautiful reminder of the little things that become the big things in our lives.

This sweet girl’s 10 month milestone photo session was captured in the most precious way - enjoying a simple meal of beans in her high chair (at least that's what we went for), surrounded by the beauty of flowers growing on the family’s back porch. 🌸

There's magic in these everyday moments - tiny hands reaching for food, discovering textures and colors, mom wiping baby's face, dad coming to the rescue and feeding his daughter. This is a story of love and growth. These moments pass by so fast, but they deserve to be remembered in years to come
