Nobody talks about this part.
The part where God answers your prayer but it doesn’t feel like a blessing. It feels like disruption. Like loss. Like everything you built is getting dismantled and you’re just supposed to trust the process.
Yeah. That’s the part.
Isaiah 43:19 — “See, I am doing a new thing! Now it springs up; do you not perceive it? I am making a way in the wilderness and streams in the wasteland.”
Read that again. A way in the WILDERNESS. Streams in the WASTELAND. God didn’t say He was making a way in the garden. He said He’d show up in the place that looks like nothing is working.
Most men quit here. They go back to what was safe. They shrink. They settle for the old version of themselves because the new one costs too much.
But here’s the truth — comfort was never the promise. Growth was. And growth requires a season where you don’t have all the answers, the ground underneath you shifts, and the only thing keeping you standing is a faith that isn’t based on what you can see.
If everything around you is changing and it feels like too much — good.
That means you’re not stuck anymore.
Trust the hand that’s moving you, even when the destination doesn’t look like what you imagined.
Save this if you’re in that season right now. Send it to a brother who needs to hear it.
