Just reached 20k miles on the 25 Ford Maverick this week. With high fuel prices this has been a great little truck for commuting to work. Honestly, the best little runabout a guy could ask for. Hauling stuff, towing small trailers, and my whole family fits in it comfortably. I continue to be very happy with my purchase. Lifetime fuel economy over the first 20k miles is 40.8mpg. Impressive!

I purchased this 2015 Thor Four Winds 22E November of 2025 and finally got it refurbished to the point it is usable just before a trip to Camp WiNeMa on the Oregon Coast, just south of Pacific City. Spent three days, and two nights with about 65 guys from my Church enjoying a chill weekend at the beach. I rode the Honda Trail 125 up a none maintained gravel road to get to the three crosses and the overlook above the camp. Amazing view! The RV worked great. A few more things to adjust and fix but it’s come a long way since I bought it.

Today I had a free hand sign painter touch up all the custom hand lettered art work on the Willamette Speedway Suburban. I took a little creative liberty and had two names added to the original logos. Mike is the flagman at Willamette Speedway. He has been teaching my son Finley how to be a flagger. They have been working together for months and Mike is a great teacher. Since there are two flagmen on the suburban I thought it would be fitting to add both their names above the respective flagmen. I added my youngest son, Aiden’s name to the glovebox door inside the truck. Refreshing the hand painted art ties the truck back to its past, adding the names to the artwork pulled it forward into the future. I love how it turned out. John did such a great job on the refresh!

I recently purchased a used small class C motorhome as a project. It’s a 2015 with only 16,000 miles. I got a good buy on it but knew it would need some work to be ready to use based on the last couple photos in this post. So far, detailed inside and out, new tires, new batteries, oil and filter changes, fixed sway bar end link, new upper bunk cushion and ladder, new tail lights, new vent covers, and a complete reseal of the roof and sides. It’s been a very tedious process, especially scraping all the sealant. Can’t wait to actually get to use it starting next week. Thank you to my buddy Stacey and my son Finley for all the hard work and help on this one.

For 10 years I was a motorcycle police officer. I was selected for the position in 2012 and went to a two week motor school with a bunch of other rookie motorcycle cops. At motor school I met and became friends with Scott Hanley, whose nickname was the Moose from Scappoose. We became quick friends and competed against each other hard for Rookie of the Year honors at the next North American Motor Officers Association conference in Victoria BC. I just edged Scott out for the honor but it was a blast competing with each other. Fast forward to January of 2026. Scott unexpectedly passed away from a heart attack while attending church with his family. For most of his career on motors Scott rode a Honda ST1300. I just recently bought one. In honor of Scott I had some logos designed and printed by crystal read to honor Scott when I ride my ST1300. I think they came out awesome! Miss you brother!
