Pumpkin Patch collection - Kenagy Family Farm pumpkin patch fundraiser.

Nestled against the Willamette River in North Albany, Kenagy Family Farm's autumn offerings include a beautiful patch of pumpkins in many colors, gourds, winter squash and seeds, decorative corn and corn stalk bundles. The patch is tucked between farmland and high trees and makes for a serene natural experience. A late planting this year made for an unusually lush and leafy field, and pumpkins which are plentiful and perfectly ready to cut right off the vine!

💚 All proceeds go to Jackson Street Youth Services and ABC House, non-profits which help and advocate for children in crisis with locations in Corvallis and Albany. For a gorgeous "chill" traditional pumpkin patch and to support a worthy cause, come out and take part.

Pumpkin Patch collection - Davis Family Farm

Located on Hwy 20 in Corvallis, Davis Family Farm is a local favorite farm-stand and u-pick blueberry field. For Halloween they offer a pumpkin patch, corn maze, hay pyramid slide (a definite favorite for the kids), and hay rides. There is also cider and donuts in addition to their delicious seasonal farm fare.

Pumpkin Patch collection - GreenGable Farm

Located just off Hwy 34 in Philomath, GreenGable Farm boasts a huge variety of pumpkins, gourds, and winter squashes for your holiday decorating. Beautiful and very family-friendly, the u-pick patch is rounded out with a corn maze and treasure hunt, pumpkin carriage photo op, and shaded outdoor picnic area. The surrounding trees and foothills made for a tranquil natural experience, and the cool shade was most refreshing. I'll be back this weekend with my family, which their website says is the right time to find donuts!

Pumpkin Patch collection - the Melon Shack.

Located on Hwy 20 in Corvallis, the Melon Shack joins their usual delicious fare with Halloween decorations, a pumpkin patch, hay bales for clambering, hay "train" rides, photo op cutouts, and a huge corn maze. The maze looks like great fun in the daytime, but this weekend will be open as the Melon Shack Haunted Corn Maze - check out their page for more! Visible from the 99W highway this morning, large plumes of a white material being applied to the farmland north of Corvallis. I was not able to confirm if this was agricultural lime (a common soil conditioner which reduces acidity). While inquiring, I discovered that this Owen's Farm Natural Area is a historical site open for public viewing and managed by the Corvallis Parks Department: https://www.corvallisoregon.gov/parksrec/page/owens-farm-natural-area

At the Corvallis Fire Department today, they had the stars and stripes flying from a fire truck ladder in remembrance of September 11th.
