I have some sad news. Unfortunately, I am having to close the studio at the end of SEPTEMBER. I want to be transparent and say that I am just not bringing in the income to support a full-time studio. I've been a 7th grade teacher for a month and it's been keeping me extremely busy. I'm loving it.

The only sessions I had scheduled in the studio after September were the Santa sessions. Those are being canceled and I have sent out an email with details about refunds. I have refunded everyone related to the Santa sessions. For credit card refunds, it takes 5-7 business days to appear. I apologize for the inconvenience and I am hoping you have plenty of time to schedule with another photographer. I recommend Flora and Fig Photography and Janelle McDonnell Motherhood Photography.

All outdoor sessions will continue as planned. People have asked if I going to continue to do outdoor sessions after the new year. I will be taking limited outdoor sessions during Summer, but I will not be booking those until about a month before Summer.

I'm not going to lie. This session made me a little sad. I've been photographing these two for many years. It's hard having to say goodbye to photography. But they rocked this session. It was a blast!

It’s official! In case you’re wondering where I’ll be teaching in August! I’m so thankful to be on this new adventure.

2024 update: I’ll be taking limited sessions during summer 2024.

Meet Mrs. Catherine Sauer. With a degree focus in English & Creative Writing, she will be our newest 7th grade ELA teacher. She absolutely LOVES reading and can't get enough of the Harry Potter books. Mrs. Sauer has a passion for making learning exciting for her students! She has two awesome kids of her own – one in 7th grade and the other in 9th grade. Mrs. Sauer’s husband has been in the Navy for 27 years! When she's not exploring magical worlds through books, you can find her fishing or at the beach with her family. She’s thrilled to be a part of the TBMS Bear family and can't wait to share her love for reading and writing with her students! 🧡💙
