It’s not every day I get to photograph a real life mermaid! I worked the San Diego
Underwater Film Festival. I saw some awesome film making to be sure!

Shooting at The Del is always a treat!

Event coverage at the Del never disappointed during my residency. While my position as Resident Photographer concludes Oct 13, I am eternally grateful for my 27 year run. From janitors to GMs I made it a point to connect with my work family and daily contact with those folks I will truly miss. I got to photograph Presidents, royalty, government and corporate movers and shaker for sure. And the family clients.. many I have watched their kids grow. A favorite? Colin Powell was a stand out for sure!

General Brodie, the 2 star that runs Miramar’s 3rd airwing gave laudatory remarks prior to the Frog-X parachute demo as part of Coronado’s July4th celebrations. An F-18 and F-35 pilot whose inspiring words thanking both active duty and retired service members for their service were a cogent testament to the importance of service to our great nation. For me, the hi light of a fantastic day-long Community celebration.

I get such joy from proposal sessions. While not always a true “surprise”, they are full of joy and excitement!
