Old rail track out in Harpers ferry in West Virginia between the mighty Shenandoah and Potomac rivers. The tracks are located a football field away the armory that from John Brown attempted to seize in 1859 hoping to spark a slave rebellion. The raid was however unsuccessful and he was hanged in December as the first person executed for treason in the United States. The grounds are beautiful and full of history. Highly recommend the trip.
