Ashlee Hayden Photography Hi, my name is Ashlee Hayden. I am a local photographer based out of San Diego, CA. I specialize in a more natural, organic scene with few to no props at all.

Here is a little bit about me:

I am mom to two energetic boys, one feisty girl, and a wife to a very loving and supportive husband who has made my photography dreams possible. I have loved taking photos for as long as I can remember and have been capturing memories professionally since 2011, which has allowed me the flexibility to work while spending a lot of much needed time with my quickly grow

ing children. I specialize in photographing couples, but starting in 2014 I began a new interest (more like obsession) with photographing newborns. As a mom, I can tell you they don’t stay small forever, so every single piece of them from their itsy bitsy toes, to their puckered little lips, needs to be documented and preserved forever in photographs that can be cherished for generations. And as a mother I understand the importance of capturing all of life’s important moments. I will do everything that I can to create a comfortable and relaxed atmosphere, so that we can capture the realness of who you and your family are. If you have your heart set on a photographer that uses many props and forced poses, I am most likely not the photographer for you. I strive for creating a familial atmosphere with my customers. I want real photos, with real smiles.

Same gorgeous mama. Two completely different vibes.
🌿 Look 1: Rich, dramatic, romantic, a little moody.
🩷 Look 2: Soft, feminine, simple and timeless.
And THIS is exactly why I love doing multiple looks during a maternity session.
You don’t have to decide if you’re the soft-and-romantic girl or the bold-and-dramatic girl.
You can be both. 👏

So what actually happens at a maternity session? Come with me. 🤍
First things first… we’re getting you GLAMMED. Hair, makeup, the whole thing. Because if we’re doing this, we’re doing it right. 😂
Then it’s time to get you into one of your looks—and this is where the fun really starts.
And listen… you do NOT need to know how to pose.
I’m going to tell you where to put your hands, how to stand, where to look… all of it.
And we are constantly watching the little things.
We’re fixing hair, adjusting your dress, moving fabric, changing angles—basically obsessing over every tiny detail so YOU don’t have to.
Your only job is to show up, let us take care of you, and enjoy feeling ridiculously beautiful for a little while.
And somewhere along the way, that nervous “I have no idea what I’m doing” feeling turns into…
“Okayyyy… I got this.” 😏
