I create polished, elevated images that reflect your confidence, credibility, and the season of life or business you’re in now. I love to have fun and play games. I make silly jokes and can only hope you have a sense of humor too! I have spent my entire career(s) working with children from babysitting as a teen, nannying for several families throughout the years, working in pediatric dentistry as

a dental assistant, and most importantly I have been a children's portrait photographer since I was 15 years old!! I of course, had to work with my babysitting kiddos, they were so patient with me while I learned!

One of the biggest surprises for parents during kids photos is realizing…
the best photos almost never happen when I ask for them.

Not when I say “smile.”

Not when everyone is standing exactly where they’re supposed to.

And definitely not when kids are trying really hard to behave.

The real photos usually happen in between.

When someone says something ridiculous.

When a kid starts laughing for no reason.

When they start telling me about their
favorite animal or their best friend or the weird dream they had last night.

That’s the moment everything relaxes.
Parents stop stressing.

Kids stop performing.

And suddenly the smiles are real.

It always ends up looking effortless in the final gallery…

but behind the scenes it’s usually a lot of laughing, talking, and letting kids just be themselves.

Which honestly makes sessions way more fun anyway.

Tulip sessions are back 🌷
On March 29 I’ll be photographing families in the tulip fields in Kernersville during the afternoon and golden hour.
Yes — it’s a bit of a drive for most of my families.
But once the kids start running through the rows of flowers and the sun starts dropping… it turns into the kind of session that feels more like a spring adventure than a photoshoot.
No stiff posing.
No awkward smiles.
Just real moments in the middle of thousands of tulips.
A few spots are still open.

One of my favorite full-circle stories. 🤍

I’ve been photographing these sweet souls for years now — first as tiny humans holding mom’s hands, now as big personalities with inside jokes and their own kind of magic. Watching them grow up together has been the real gift.

They aren’t just clients. They’re friends.
And their kids? They’ve built a bond that feels like summer nights, shared snacks, and “see you next weekend.”

This is why I do what I do.
Not just to freeze a smile — but to document the kind of friendships that grow right alongside childhood. ✨
