To my beautiful girls!! Happy 19th birthday. I know this one must be a little strange…being away from home and being separated from one another…but know that we love you and that your love for each other grows stronger every day. The smiles, the laughter, the bond you two share, is simply amazing and I’m so proud of you both. Love you more than words can express - my heart is so full. I never posted anything about my dad’s passing… Not really sure why? Denial? Grief? Anger? Sadness?

Most likely all of it. It’s been 3 years and there isn’t a day that goes by that I don’t think about him. For those who knew my dad, he was a BIG personality and filled up a lot of space, wherever he went. So to say he’s left a whole in my heart, is quite the understatement.

The kids and I find ourselves saying:
Man, pops would have loved this restaurant.
Pops would be so proud.
What would Pops think or what advice would he give me?

I used to get so annoyed that he would call me every. single. day. Without fail. Just to say hello. Or shoot the s**t. Or try to get me to talk about politics. Or give me a recipe. Or warn me about tiktok and China. Or how the kids these days don’t know how good they have it. Or to simply tell me he loves me and Allen and the kids. (Well, let’s be honest, it’s really in reverse order 😊)

I miss those calls now. Miss you Dad ❤️

2025 ended just as it began! 🥰🤣

2025 had its fair share of ups AND downs, and despite it all, 2025 was filled with love, laughter, family and friends, who are family! So thankful and blessed to have this life and all the people in it! ❤️🧡💚
