What an incredible night of trick-or-treating yesterday in my hometown of Harrisburg, NC! It’s amazing to see just how much this event has grown and how it has become such a massive gathering for families, kids, local businesses, and so many people throughout our community.

From the incredible creativity in all the costumes to the amazing vendors, treats, and activities, there was something for everyone! You could feel the excitement and Halloween spirit everywhere you turned.

I also love seeing the town try something new this year by bringing the festivities to the Town Hall area. What a cool way to change things up, bring people together, and continue growing an event that so many people look forward to each year.

There’s just something special about seeing your hometown come together like this. Seeing the smiles, the families making memories, the local businesses getting involved, and the community showing up in such a big way makes you proud to call Harrisburg home.

Harrisburg, you really showed up! ❤️🧡🖤 Here’s to seeing this event continue to grow year after year. So cool to see what our hometown has become!

🍬🎃 WHAT A NIGHT IN DOWNTOWN CONCORD! 👻🧡

Another annual Downtown Concord Candy Crawl is in the books, and WOW… what a great crowd, incredible costumes, and so many smiling faces! This is truly one of our FAVORITE events of the year, and we love being part of it year after year!

Dylan was out there capturing all the little trick-or-treaters, snapping photos and catching all the Halloween fun, while I was over in Harrisburg covering their Trick or Treat event! 📸🍭

I’ll be sharing the Harrisburg photos tomorrow morning before we head out to the Cabarrus County Fairgrounds for Touch-A-Truck! 🚒🚜

We’ve been covering this event for a long time, and it never gets old. The community, the costumes, the excitement, and seeing everyone come together are what it’s all about. We appreciate everyone who comes out, supports these events, and lets us capture the memories!

Sometimes you are lucky enough to have people come into your life that not only changes your life but changes you as a person.

Mike was one of those people for me.

15 years ago this guy contacts me about some group called the Cabarrus Visitors Bureau wanting to use some of my images to help promote our community. Little did I know that 15 years later I would still be working for him and Explore Cabarrus. Not only has that been a blessing to me but Mike himself has been a blessing to me.

Mike made me understand a different perspective when it came to my photography, to marketing myself and how to be more appreciative of the skills I have.

If you were lucky enough to have known him. Lucky enough to have had interactions with him, heck lucky enough for him to pick on ya ( I had that in spades btw) then you have been blessed.

There isn’t much that would made my day more than to get a text or call from Mike and receiving a compliment from him about a picture or a project. Trust me he would muuuuch rather give me crap lol. So getting an actual compliment was huge!!

I have learned so much from Mike. I won’t ever forget anything he taught me, nor how much my life has changed in a good way because of him.

Godspeed my friend and thank you for being you.

One thing I want to end this with and if ya know than ya know…..copyright on Chicken parmesan….Love you Mike.
