I teased that as soon as Madison changed her dress, Madison 2.0 came out! I’m a big fan of the reception dress change. It’s easier to dance without the full ball gown, plus it gives us an excuse for a second round of portraits. Because why not? You only get married once! ☺️

Riley, you’re a dream. One of those humble brides who has no idea just how beautiful she is, inside and out. 🤍

Having a little extra time for portraits on the wedding day allowed us to create these beautiful bridal portraits, and it’s a reminder of one of my biggest pieces of wedding day advice (although you didn’t ask for it) make room for the things that matter most to you. It might not be this, but whatever it is, make the time for it and let go of the things that don’t hold as much significance.

Last week at the Columbus Museum of Art, the Columbus wedding community celebrated the first-ever Book of Weddings from Wed Society | Columbus , and one of my images made the cover! Look, Mom! 🤗

It means the most that it’s Sierra & Logan on the cover. Their love was something special, and I’m honored I got to document it. Congratulations to them and to the whole vendor team behind this day.

Found unexpected happiness in this long-lost form of art. Taking my travel photographs from Provence and turning them into one-of-a-kind pieces has made me see these images in a completely different way. There’s something so special about slowing down and letting the photograph become something more than just an image.
