Keep this in mind as school has started, Sunday school class, local libraries, makes a wonderful birthday gift and for upcoming holidays. Wonderful heartwarming story about how a 7 foot colorful dinosaur was made fun of became shy and live with uncle Doug and the neighborhood kids who were all different themselves, came to meet shy and explained to him, It’s OK to be different cause they’re all different and the story continues on how they all become friends and she learns not to be so shy. 🥰

44 years ago, I had an idea to write a children’s book.
Life got in the way… and it took me until 2026 to finally finish it 😄

Today… it’s officially LIVE on Amazon.

“Adventures of Shy” is about a very special (very tall, colorful, with big yellow feet and purple glasses 😄) pet who learns that being different is okay—and that the right friends make all the difference.

If you’d like to see what it’s all about, here’s a short video preview:

Shy is Uncle Doug's very special pet--tall, colorful, and wears big purple glasses and unlike any pet you've ever seen. When he meets the neighborhood kids, they learn that being different is something to celebrate. Through kindness and friendship, they discover what matters most... is the friend...
