One more thing I’ve been thinking about…

Over the years, I’ve had the chance to work alongside so many incredible birth workers. Doulas, midwives, people who show up every day to support families in really meaningful ways.

And if I’m being honest, a lot of you are amazing at what you do… but not always great at showing that online. Your voice, your presence, your heart for the work doesn’t always come through the way it should.

So I’m adding something new.

I’m going to start offering branding sessions specifically for birth workers. The goal is to help you feel seen and represented in a way that actually reflects who you are and how you show up for your clients.

If that means photographing you at a prenatal, or even being available for a birth, we can do that. If it’s something more relaxed and lifestyle focused, that works too.

I’ll be offering a special rate for birth workers as I get this started.

I’ve been doing a lot of thinking about where I am and where I want to go next, and it’s time to make a shift here.

For many years, I’ve been part of the birth world in a very hands-on way, supporting families as a doula and witnessing some of the most powerful moments life has to offer. That work will always mean so much to me.

Right now, though, I’m choosing to step fully into birth photography.

Being in the room still matters to me. The energy, the emotion, the quiet moments that happen in between everything else. The difference now is that I’m there to document it. To capture what it felt like, not just what it looked like.

With everything else on my plate, I can’t give the time and on-call commitment that doula work requires, so I’m focusing on what I can do really well in this season.
